What's the rule of seating distance between you and a TV? Im planning to get a 50″ plasma, but i dunno if the space between me and the tv is too small.
Searching for a new tv. The screen size is 42″ but the 1080p price is about 250 dollars more than the 720P, does the difference in the picture justify the extra money spent? Thanks.
ive been pondering over this
Is high definition just high resolution?
When I am playing my xbox 360 or ps3, the graphics look all clunky, edgy and unpolished. Thats the best I could explain it, can anyone help me on how to fix this? I cant stand playing games that are finished but look like they are still being made! Im also using HD component cords, but I have tryed using VGA cords but my tv is not accepting them i guess it says
Not Supported Mode.
Hi all, originally I was going to buy the Samsung on Amazon but I went to Best Buy and they said they`d match any price. It turned out I didn`t even need to ask that since I found the LCD for approx. $2300. But the kid, wicked knowledgeable, took me to see a Samsung DLP much bigger of course. I know there`s most likely no burn-in and they both had HD so my only question was, is there any trouble hooking up to DLP with Xbox 360? This is actually a confirmation question as I asked the guy already but I wanted to get more input from you guys. There was one feedback poster on Amazon who said he wish he had bought the LCD since because he went with DLP he couldn`t get a signal from his Xbox. Ok this sounded nuts to me too, but since it`s a lot of money I want to be sure. I fairly certain it was operator error lol. Thanks in advance.
What is a good speed to make the fan run at to make sure it does not overheat while playing games?
I run it at 50% all the time? Is that an ok speed even when playing games?
i was thinking of getting a surround sound system and i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to a decent one. the room is to small for a 7 speaker setup but a 3 or 5 would work. i have about 400 to spend.
i was thinking of something like this
or can i get somethin better for cheaper
I have a surround sound system that has an optical audio input port so I bought a fiber optic HD audio cord so that I could connect my pc to it. But I can`t seem to get the surround system to play the audio from my pc. My pc doesn`t recognize that the speakers are connected, so how do I setup the connection so that I can hear the audio from my pc out of the surround sound system?
Thanks in advance.
Im looking to buy a HDTV and Im not sure if its better to dish out around $800+ for a 1080 LCD, or get a 720p Plasma for around the same price. Any suggestion? Which will give me better quality for video games/movies. Im wondering because I read that although the LCD is 1080, sometimes LCDs can blur or leave a trail with actions scenes because of the response time, where as Plasma response time is almost immediate.
