I don`t have a ps3 yet but I`ll probably buy one soon

1. Is the ps3 worth the price

2. what model should I get I want to play online, I want backwards compatibility, and I want to not have to delete a game every time I need to save a new one.

3. I have AT&T DSL can I play online.

4. If I can play online then do I just take an ethernet cable and hook it up to the nearest phoneline

I am new to this people please help me
