seriously.. Sony is so close to locking down this gen its not even funny.. All they need to do is just drop the 40 GB all together and keep the MGS4 PS3 bundle and lower the price to $349.99 and i guarantee that it will be the top selling console month after month! Yes even outselling the Wii with flying colors!! Throw in that bluetooth headset included with every 80 GB modeland they will be set all gen! Heck that PS3 bundle could last all gen for the next several years.. The MGS brand is so timeless and represents the playstation brand so well that they could keep that 80 GB SKU for the next several years to come

i for one totally suck at motorstorm i should just stick to single player on that one but on the other hand i think i can hold my own on cod4 and halo 1

I mean lets be serious. We know nothing in terms of games from Nintendo that would be consider awesome. I mean if they announce a new Zelda it isn`t coing out this year.

I mean what can Nintendo possibly announce at E3 that will make people say wow the wii has some awesome games in the fall. I don`t care if it is selling like crazy. My wii needs to be played. Heck my lil brother doesn`t even play it. He keeps harassing me about my 360.

So realisticlly what can Nintendo provide what is starting to look like a drought in games for Nintendo.

I`ve always thought of myself as a good gamer but I only get good with plenty of practice but I have a friend that can pick up games in seconds, thats not to say he`s a better gamer than me as the games we both like and have played for a while are really evenly matched but If we played a new game he would dominate me until I played it for a while.

So I just wanted to know what you guys think of yourselves?
(I know thins is a games forum and most of you think your pro gamers but try be honest)

There was a time when GT5 was getting all the hype in the world and it looked great, but the GT5P demo really kinda turned me off and had me wanting Forza 3. Now with the new rumors about Forza 3, I have to say to the left to the left GT5, Forza 3 is coming to town. What do you guys think? Im excited for sure.

The 360 is now pretty much dead. It is lagging in sales and its going down every month and its is constantly selling behind the PS3(in all regions). The console is also maed out, and after 2 yrs gears still is the graphics king on the console, while the PS3 has far surpassed gears and is constantly improving, with games like HS, then Unchartered, GT5 , MGS4. The killzone 2 pre alpha screens smoke gears 2(which looks like Gears 1, with no improvements at all), and the multiplats of 08 all look better on the PS3, despite being harder to develop for(games like Burnout, GTA 4, DMC4, Turok, Lost:VD), this further shows that the 360 is now bottlenecked. People. you have experienced the high point of the xbox 360 in 07, and its not going to improve at all now and the PS3 just needs a few big hitter to blow it out of the market, its already being dropped by retailers now.

For example, Condemned (the first one) wasn`t AAA, but to me it was. Ninja gaiden 2 is extremely fun and challenging and to me plays like a 9.0 game. Crackdown definitely the most fun open sandbox game I`ve played (to me more fun the GTAiv).

I think reviews are sort of broken, but not completely because after looking at the AAA games I realized most truly are deserving. However, they need to give FUN the biggest tilt. So if graphics aren`t the best or if it`s a rehash of last gens game…who really cares? Is it fun needs to be the biggest thing about the review. Then they need to explain the fun. For example, I don`t find GTAiv fun for me. I can see where others will like it, but I want super powers, super speed, etc… Playing the role of a thug immigrant with no special powers doesn`t make the game fun to me. I thought I was going to hate Crackdown because it was another sandbox game, but I loved it.

Am I alone in my thinking (not on GTAiv), but on how we rate/review games.

Rated a paltry A! Weren`t herm`s hyping AAA? Even the filthy XBOX 1.5 which has half the power could get AA on the illustrious Gspot. Can`t wait for MASS EFFECT 2 on PS3. PS3 will fix all the problems. Sheeps, don`t hold your breath for your copy. Kthanx bye

I, don`t think so. The first one was great! It had cutting edge graphics, but 2 years later, things have changed. With games the look better than gears like Uncharted, Crysis and MGS4 gears isn`t exactly the beautiful eye candy that it was when it first released.The 360 isn`t getting any younger and neither is the engine that powers gears of war 2, but Epic has maneged to squeeze a little more juice out of the 360 and the end result looks pretty good.

Graphics aren`t everything, story is becoming more and more important this gen. Story is something the first gears didn`t exactly do well. Not only did it last 6 hours, but by the time the ending came arount there were plot holes the size of Texas. If gears 2 has the same non existent story, there`s gonna be a problem. Now gameplay wise there is not going to be a problem here, gears gameplay is fantastic.

So with GTA4 and MGS4 getting solid 10s,and StarCraft 2 and Spore on the way I just don`t see Gears of War 2 winning. Will it be a great game? Yes! But will it be the game of the year? Most likely no. IMO
