I own both the PS3 and 360 and i have to say that while i do think the 360 is overall the better console due to its current game library (which will change in the PS3`s favor sooner than later) I do think however the XMB is just overall more user friendly and more free than the dashboard.. I love being able to browse the web while listening to music.. Heck, I could spend hours downloading user created themes on PSU.com from the webbrowser and just browsing the PS Store.. And also xbox live marketplace feels a little cluttered compared to the new refined PS store.. With the PS store you actually feel like its a game store whereas with marketplace its just a list of stuff. Overall i find the XMB to be more user friendly and just easier and more fun to navigate.. anyone else agree?!

Capcom has a `surprising take on a next-gen favorite` coming to Wii

A snippet from the latest issue of NGamer…

“There`s a bullet with our name on it if we speak of their ultra top secret Wii title (a surprising take on a next-gen favourite), so we`ll stick to the safer, though still intruiging, Spyborgs.”

Remember when Capcom was teasing us with an announcement? Well, we heard about Spyborgs shortly thereafter, and everyone thought that was the announcement. Looks like that isn`t the case!

We know Capcom has two surprise titles to discuss at E3, and the recently trademarked Mega Man 9 has to be one of them. Now, with this information in NGamer, this has to be the other title! E3 cannot come fast enough.

Lost planet, dead rising…what?

I must admit when I first played MGO i thought it was boring and not that fun to play at all, but after playing it for a couple hours earlier I must say that its almost as fun as gears but not quite.. I do like how gears is a bit more fast paced with smaller maps but MGO trumps gears as far as stability and overall online performance is concerned with lag, glitches ETC although if i spend more hours with MGO i might end up liking it as much as Gears but then again i dont know because Gears is what got me into online gaming and I still love the online and play it to this day.

It`s always baffled me why the Wii is outselling the 360/PS3 so badly. The 360 has a great quality, broad software lineup and it`s fairly well priced. The online is a huge ripoff but that`ll be inconsequential to alot of people (especially the more casual customer)

I recently got a 360 and I downloaded a few demos. Alot of them use practically every button on the controller (that`s about 8 buttons) + 2 sticks + the d-pad + the two sticks as extra buttons (by pressing them down).A lot of them also have wildy differing control schemes (which is especially baffling in the case of shooters)

I`m willing to sit down and learn the controller layout and I have done on quite a few occasions. But your average joe is going to take one look at the controls and walk away. With the Wii all you have to do is point, wave your arms around a bit and press one or two buttons. It`s literally simple enough for a child to pick up

I was just viewing a lot of the crazy threads that have been going on and in reality if you own a ps3 and a 360 you basically are set for this gen. the 360 is great for the PC oriented games and the ps3 is great for it`s unique exclusives like MGS4, final fantasy 13, Gran Turismo 5, white knight story etc. Also worthy of mention I think is how the PS3/PC would also be an excellent combo. you really can`t go wrong if you own 2 systems.

For the next generation of consoles (and even rumoured for the current consoles) is the combination of top tier graphics and the motion control the best combination?

Also, do you think that MS and Sony will be introducing this as a standard set-up for their next generation (and maybe even for the current gen)?

If Sony and MS move to motion-controllers and break away from the traditional controller set-up what will the backlash be (personally for you, as well as for the whole market)?

i am so tired of all these stupid arguments about 260 vs ps3 that no one really ever wins, so why dont we let the community vote on a poll of 360 vs ps3 once and for all. Here are some things to compare:

Online: xbox 360 why? xbox live hands down! home still yet to come…….

graphics: ps3 why? ps3 has blu ray

Games: xbox 360 why? MGS vs Halo? GOW vs Uncharted?

controls: xbox 360/ps3 why? pretty much same controller

price: xbox 360 why? 300$ for 360 vs 400$ for ps3 for similair features

So what does the community think?

I must say that…..Firmware 2.40 is a great sign for the PS3/Sony. It shows that they are listening to what people playing their games want (I don`t care if it`s copying or not…blah blah). They`ve now added in Trophies, In-game XMB, and rumble, 3 VASTLY sought after updates to their platform since it has released.

Now my point is this….although FW 2.40 is great, it (obviously) is not w/o it`s flaws. This is not a thread to bash on 2.40 and what it does not have, but a thread for XBL appreciation. Lots of the time I had taken Achievements, In-game XBL Guide, Music tracks, etc…for granted, and after seeing how it is very hard to implement perfectly (seeing this via FW 2.40) I have a new found appreciation for Xbox Live.

Does anybody else that owns both a 360 and a PS3 feel the same way?

i need a game to rent, so just say what game, what console, and possibly why

As a Wii60 owner I`m getting both of these games.
