MGS4 must be one heck of a game. It basically killed Halo 3 online community at least tonight. I am quite surprised.

lemmings say that ps3 now only has one good game when it still has alot of great AAes like Warhawk and Resistance. i find it pretty stupid that you judge a games worth on its score alone. when will you guys get over the fact that ps3 is a great system with great games?

Is 1080p worth it for games these days? I`ve heard that it doesn`t benefit seeing as how only a few ps3/360 games run in 1080p. Also what about refresh rate? Will having a lcd with 120Hz refresh rate benefit?

I need a ps3 and TV. I need the TV to not hinder the performance of the ps3. I would like it around 800 shipped or under or tax included into the price at the store.

I plan to play this sitting far away from the TV so it needs to be of a decent size and quality. PS3 looks best through the HDMI port right? We need one of those as well on the TV and appropriate shielded cables so the image quality isnt lessened by interference.

I am trying to judge this against going with a new PC setup. So to be fair the PS3+TV MUST work together and not totally bottleneck the other. So dont want stretched or squished screens, lines, or other such problems.
