Hi people…

I`ve recently finished having a 4 hour interview with a development team about a project of there`s that needs a writer. Now I`ve turned the job down, purely because I didn`t really like the story or the pitch I was asked to write, but never the less, the guy they wanted before me, turned the job down, purely because the game they`re developing is multiplatform.

If you were offered a job be it programming, graphic design, level design, writing whatever, would you consider turning the job down purely because it`s going multiplat?

Who would win. Reverse hates the PS3 and pretends he has one, but doesn`t. PS_John owns a PS3 and pretends he has a 360 and hates it. Both are fakeboys/fanboys, hilarious, can`t be taken serious. Who would win?

I was just thinking about this earlier. If you think about it, Nintendo has contributed so much to gaming as we know it today. If im correct with all of this, they were the first company to incoperate and analoge stick into their controllers, they were the first to implement rumble in their controllers. They`ve got one of the greatest videogame minds working for them in Shigeru Miyamoto. They were the 1st company to get 3d platforming right. Now look at the Wii. There is no question that it is influencing the direction of the gaming industry as we are seeing a push for more casual games. I thought this was pretty interesting to think about.

I wouldn`t mind if they were used at the right time, and weren`t dull and made sense.

I did a similar topic in the OT forums and figured I could do something related in here. What system would the prince of gotham own to game when he`s not busy kicking criminal`s ass? PS3, 360, or the Wii?
